The Food and Drug administration has been sending out warning letters to numerous CBD companies making it clear on how their claims are in violation of the FDA policies. And they have just sent out 15 more letters to 15 more companies. The FDA is truly on a roll and not playing around.
From the way it turns out various CBD companies have been making claims which truly can’t be backed up by any real life studies. In other words in the eyes of the FDA these claims are bogus, that’s how the FDA sees it anyhow.
Although there has been a great deal of people claiming CBD has benefited them in various ways. But on the other hand you have the FDA stating that CBD is an accident waiting to happen more than less. The FDA clearly is not OK with all the claims these CBD companies are making.
The FDA is claiming that CBD can cause the following:
- Liver injury
- Side effects from interference with other drugs
- Injuries from increased sedation and drowsiness when taken with alcohol
- Changes in alertness
- Gastrointestinal distress
- Changes in mood
The FDA has sent warning letters the following companies:
- KOI CBD
- Pink Collections, Inc
- Noli Oil
- Natural Native LLC
- Whole Leaf Organics LLC
- Infinite Product Company LLLP
- Apex Hemp Oil LLC
- Bella Rose Labs
- Sunflorda Inc
- Daddy Burt LLC
- Sabai Ventures Ltd
- Red Pill Medical Inc
- Private I Salon LLC
- Healthy Hemp Strategies LLC

We have to be honest here at THP (The Hub Post) we are interested in seeing how all this plays out in the end. We are kind of speculating that maybe CBD will only be available in prescription form with then the next 5 years, so it could be possible that CBD becomes a prescription only based product vs. being able to buy it over the counter. We do know one thing is that the FDA is really on a roll with these warning letters (clearly), so anyone that has anything to do in reference with the trade of CBD should really be caution on how they are marketing their products.
